That's the same thing that has got me bored of Guild Wars also

The beauty of the forums is that it's a place for civil discussion about issues that affect the GW at large. The game is getting on in age and some players are grappling with staying motivated. It's reasonable to expect that some people will want to talk about this.
If you don't like it... then don't read it. Better yet... don't even dignify it with a post/response.
Cheers!

How should I know? There's no warning in the title.

Go and get some good sleep and eat and excersie. You might feel better then I think it is the GW blues that have hit a lot of those that farmed and are just feeling down about like when the stock market crashed in 1929.Then came the depressing 30s.

I'd suggest a quick break.
On a side note, since nightfall came out and heroes etc. arrived, I've found it really hard to get motivated enough to bring my other characters through the game.
I've got one main char, on which I collected titles, etc. but it all seems too much like hard work to go through on my other chars.
Has anyone else felt that they're playing less characters in nightfall than they did in prophecies/factions?

Yeah a quick break can do wonders! Or go to a starter town and help some new players with quests and missions.

I think I might start doing that with my PvE time.
I really enjoyed heading back to Tyria with a friend and surfing around from town to town to see what was going on. We went and ran the Desert for kicks and went to some of our favorite screen shot locations. In different outposts I just started giving away money to random people. Mostly we just chatted over TS and had a laugh while doing whatever. There is something about Tyria that always tugs at the heart whenever I go back there.
As for a break, its not biggie. Your account will still be here. There are lots of games I've drifted back and forth from over time. I might take some time off, but they always pull me back in the end.

Nothing wrong with getting bored with games.I still buy games occasionally but less when I play GW.
You bored the game and quit playing >>> good ending.
The game got exploited and closed down >>> bad ending.
Before I play GW.I got into some other MMORPG .Usually a local one.And I can say the quality of both player and company arn't really good so all those game I played got a bad ending.
So far I thing GW doing pretty good and I hope you can comeback later for more.

@OP:
If you perceive that the breaking up of your old guild was genuinely the cause of your lack of motivation to continue with GW, I think you should really go and find another guild that you'll find fun in. That shouldn't be too hard.
GW is somewhat lacking in gameplay (elite areas may interest some but not others) and based on the length of your stay in the game (which is about double of mine), I'm guessing that taking a break and coming back to it may still not revitalize the game for you. I've taken breaks and got back into the game but I still find it difficult to continue with GW anymore; hence, I'm waiting for the next chapter and see how everything turns out. I definitely hope the next chapter is going to be released with additional fresh gameplay. Honestly speaking, I'm not very hopeful. :P

Find a good guild and start playing GvG, it will open your mind to a new game.
